Thunder and Lightning advert
This is my thunder and lightning project which we made to tell children different facts about thunder and lightning in a quick audio peice.
I made this audio project in audacity, first I started by adding a computerised voice but this did not sound good so I recorded my own voice then I cut out any of the silent peices and replaced them with sounds of lightning and thunder.
After this I added some background music so that it sounded better and helps prevent people from getting bored, I decided to add a fade out option at the end so that the music and my voice would slowly fade out rather than the whole project cutting out abruptly.
Lastly I exported the project so that it was a smaller file and so that it could easily be uploaded to the internet.

This is my imaging poster that I made for my assignment on Photoshop using a Lenovo computer, this poster is advertising a baby group. I made this by adding some images and editing them in different aspects, I cropped the images and changed the brightness, I tried drawing a bear but it failed and looked like a gingerbread man so I edited it a bit more and changed it into a gingerbread man. I added text, changed the colour and added effects to the text, the main title has a shadow behind it and the other peice is shaped as a flag.
I still do not like using Photoshop as I find it to complex as it has to many buttons which arent obvious what they do, I am slowly getting used to using photoshop but I prefer using Powerpoint or Publisher, I have also used online softwares like Pixlr which is similar to photoshop but is less complex and free, this website is also a lot faster to work with.
Photoshop has advantages for more detailed edits where as the other editing softwares I listed do not have the tools to do such detailed editing on them and they are used for basic editing.
For my poverty documentary I made in Windows Movie Maker and audacity, I interviewed a homeless man in Canterbury highstreet and got some non copyright music from youtube.
Poverty Documentary
In this interview I answered questions about how I made my documentary on poverty in the UK, I made this by writting my answers on Microsoft Word them recording them in audacity and importing them into windows movie maker so that there was text showing what the question was whilst there was also audio of my voice answering that question.
